About Tensor Trucks

Tensor Trucks is a skateboarding truck company founded and designed by professional skateboarder Rodney Mullen in 2000. Tensor's parent company is Dwindle Distribution. They offer trucks in three different heights (lo, mid, hi) tailored for differing wheel diameters; the hi is designed for 58mm wheels and smaller, the mid for 54mm or smaller, and the lo for 52 and smaller.

About Low Height Trucks

This is a low truck

Truck Height Overview
Truck height is the distance between the bottom of the skate deck and the hanger.  In general, a mid-sized truck works well for most skateboarders, but high or low trucks may be preferred under these circumstances:
Low: Provides extra stability for flip tricks. Designed for small wheels (up to 53mm).
High: Great for cruising and carving. Designed for large wheels (56mm+).

When choosing between high and low trucks you want to consider the type of skating you do the most. High trucks are good for vert ramps and bowls where low trucks have a lower center of gravity and are good for street skating and doing flip tricks.

About Tensor Trucks Slider Construction

Tensor Trucks introduced many technological advances with the release of their slider trucks, the most visible feature on a Tensor Slide Truck, is the polymer baseplate slider. Trucks can wear out on the baseplates from nose and tail slides. The slider is replaceable and slides better than standard aluminum baseplates. Tensor Trucks bushings (or cushions) use a patented design which features a flange on the bottom bushing that connects to the top bushing to stabilize the truck. Tensor Trucks feature four fangs on each baseplate designed to dig into the board to prevent the truck from shifting when mounting hardware loosens. Tensor Trucks implemented a grade 8 buttonhead kingpin with machined splines on it to prevent it from spinning in the baseplate. The buttonhead is lighter than the hex kingpin, which was the then-industry standard. Independent, Thunder, Venture, Krux, Fury, and Destructo have since implemented buttonhead kingpins.

Recomended Deck Width to suit these Trucks
